Network - Cisco IPSLA

Overview of Setting Up Cisco IPSLA in Opsview Monitor

To configure and utilize this Opspack, you simply need to add the 'Network - Cisco IPSLA' Opspack to the host running the Cisco IPSLA software, and specify the Cisco IPSLA variable IPSLA which needs to be added to the host.

Step 1: Add the host template

Step 2: Add and configure the host variable

IPSLA, where arg1 is the SLA name and arg2 is a unique number identifier

arg1 will default to a name of ALL, which will present information for all SLA's. arg2 will default to a value of 1.

The template supports multiple instances of the IPSLA attribute and the only requirement is that the arg2 value is unique for the host.

Step 3: Reload and view the Cisco IPSLA statistics
