To schedule Downtime
against a Host, simply click on the contextual menu of the Host and click
‘Schedule Downtime’, as shown below:
Once clicked, a modal
window will appear as shown below:
The downtime window
above allows you to choose to either set downtime on individual Service Checks
selected one by one or by their state (i.e. DOWNTIME on only CRITICAL Service
Checks). Alternatively you can choose to schedule downtime on ‘Hosts &
All Services’ which will put the Host and all of the Service Checks into a
state of DOWNTIME.
downtime against a Host, you are scheduling downtime on all the Service Checks within that Host, and also the Host Check
Command itself, meaning if anything in that Host ‘fails’ within the downtime
period specified, no notifications will be generated.
